Exhibitions Now on View

At the Center for Jewish History, we bring history to life through exhibits that connect us to our shared past. Addressing diverse themes from all eras of Jewish history, our exhibits offer visitors the opportunity to encounter primary source material in the form of original artifacts that are embedded in insightful narratives that underscore the deep links between past and present. Recent exhibits include JewCE! The Museum and Laboratory of the Jewish Comics Experience, which introduced visitors to the deep Jewish roots of the comic book industry, How Jews Became Citizens: Highlights from the Sid Lapidus Collection, which explored how Jews fought for equal rights in early modern Europe, and Idealizing Zion: Visualizing the Jewish State, which showed how European Zionists envisioned the Jewish future in early 20th century Ottoman and British-ruled Palestine.
